Visa requirements depend on your country of origin. The latest policy relaxation now allows travelers from several countries to visit China visa-free for up to 14 days. We recommend contacting your nearest Chinese embassy or consulate to confirm if you are eligible for visa-free entry.
If a visa is required, you will need to apply at the nearest Chinese embassy or consulate. You can expedite the process by using a local travel agency that offers visa application support.
If you need a business visa, it requires more preparation, including a formal Invitation Letter. We recommend beginning the application process early, as it typically takes at least 1 week to process. Overall, plan for 2-4 weeks to complete the entire process.

A tourist visa is often the fastest and most affordable way to enter China for trade shows. Typically valid for 30 days, most tourist visas do not require an invitation letter. Your itinerary, flight, and accommodation bookings will generally suffice for the application. However, availability and the ease of obtaining a tourist visa can vary by country, so check with your local Chinese Embassy in advance.
Whether you're entering China visa-free or applying for a visa, make sure that your passport is valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry.
